Harford County library seeks board and student liaison candidates
The Harford County Public Library Board of Trustees seeks candidates for a trustee appointment. The initial term is for five years, beginning on July 1, with eligibility for reappointment to a second term. Applications can be found online at https://hcplonline.org/board.php. The deadline to submit a completed application and resume is Feb. 29.
The board also seeks a student liaison representative. The representative will serve for one year beginning, July 1. Applications can be found online at https://hcplonline.org/board.php. The deadline to submit a completed application and a resume or student essay is also Feb. 29.
The student liaison representative will gain leadership experience serving on a governing board, provide input into library services for all groups and participate in board discussions and activities.
Candidates for both positions must be residents of Harford County.
