Harmony Co-op to host Ojibwe Language Event Nov. 11
Nov. 7—BEMIDJI — As part of National Native American Heritage Month, the Harmony Co-op Explorers program will hold an Ojibwe Language Event from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 11, at the co-op.
Participants will learn about the Ojibwe language through a scavenger hunt and activity sheets, a release said. There will also be a build-your-own snack: seasonal salad with manoomin (wild rice).
Children must be accompanied by an adult and pre-registration is required.
