The 2023 season for Harmony In The Woods marks the third anniversary for this outdoor entertainment venue nestled in the forest alongside Hawley, in the Lake Wallenpaupack region of the Poconos. The season opens on June 30 and runs every weekend until Labor Day.

The Foundation for Harmony Presents has announced the opening of the season. Curated music and dance events are featured. There are both favorites from the last two years as well as new artists and acts among the schedule, their press release states.

Jill Carletti, Creative Director described the lineup as "diverse and eclectic entertainment."

The range of entertainment includes everything from a Motown big band to a contemporary dance company, from Celtic fiddlers to rock n’ roll, she noted.

Two shows, June 30

Harmony In The Woods opens the season with two shows, at 2 and 6 p.m., on June 30.

Performers Sean Altman and Jack Skuller return for Harmony's third year with “The Everly Set – Celebrating The Everly Brothers”. For the first two summers, their tribute to Simon and Garfunkel sold out every performance.

Opening weekend continues on Saturday, July 1 with King Solomon Hicks, described as "the 26-year-old guitar phenom" from Harlem.

Looking ahead to the summer will be performances by favorites like Driftwood and Serene Green, local stars such as Mike Mizwinski and Wade Preston, and other highly anticipated acts like The Brit Pack, a tribute band of British invasion rock n’ roll, and Latin fusion band De Tierra Caliente.

Creative Director Jill Carletti stated: “We’re so proud to be producing big names, as well as incredible emerging talent within their genres in our very own backyard. Our shows feature phenomenal talent, close to home, in an intimate setting that is easy to get to and thoroughly enjoyable. Access to the performing arts enhances quality of life, and our organization is thrilled to be part of the tapestry that makes life brighter for our region.”

Tickets are now on sale to the public.
