Harris Lawn Care Services announced recently that it was awarded the contract to mow and maintain grounds for the city of Oak Ridge through a competitive bid.

“The contract kicked off on March 15, and we started things off without any complication,” Joseph Harris, the owner, stated in a news release.

Harris went on to say that he’s proud to be providing the city of Oak Ridge, his hometown, with commercial mowing services. In addition, the city contract has allowed Harris Lawn Care to add eight employees to its staff. Harris has worked with the local Permanent Technical Assistance Centers and Tennessee Small Business Development Center offices located at the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce since 2007, and he credits these relationships as instrumental to his business growth.
