Harrison Central, Dover lead way in East District baseball honors

Harrison Central's Treston Nemeth and Dover's Ayden Hall were the top area honorees as the 2022 East District baseball awards were selected recently.

Nemeth was named the East District Player of the Year for all divisions and represented Division III as the Player of the Year.

Hall claimed Player of the Year honors in Divisions I-II and Shadyside's Bryce Amos was the Division IV honoree.

Hall's coach Jeff Fondriest was named the Division I-II Coach of the Year, while Martins Ferry's Anthony Reasbeck was the Division II honoree and Shadyside's Shawn Salmon earned the honor in Division IV.

Hall and New Philadelphia's Brenton Billman are the Division I-II OHSBCA Augusta All-Ohio Senior Series representatives and West Holmes Noah Clark is an alternate.

Sandy Valley's Kaiden Mastri is an alternate in Division III.
