UPDATE: Harrison Twp. girl reported missing is located and is safe, sheriff’s office says

Harrison Twp. resident Madison Thompson, 14, who was reported missing on May 7, has been located and is safe, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday afternoon.

Sheriff Rob Streck said he would like to thank both the news media and the community who helped spread the word about the girl’s disappearance.

Law enforcement officials are requesting the public’s aid in searching and locating an endangered and missing 14-year-old.

Madison Thompson, 14, went missing on Sunday, May 7, after she left home and did not return, a spokesperson for the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said.

Detectives, working the case, were unable to find her after following up on several leads. As result, they are asking for the public’s help in finding the missing endangered child.

Thompson is a black female with black hair and brown eyes, as shown in the picture. She is 5 feet and 9 inches at around 125 pounds.

“Her family and law enforcement are concerned for her safety and well-being,” the spokesperson said.

“Your call could be the key to bringing Madison home safely,” the spokesperson said.
