Virginia Giuffre accused the Duke of York of sexually assaulting her when she was a 17-year-old sex trafficking victim.

Prince Andrew denies the allegations but settled out of court for an undisclosed sum.

Prince Harry took aim at his uncle in his book Spare.

Discussing the decision to remove his police security Harry noted: "[Andrew] was embroiled in a shameful scandal, accused of the sexual assault of a young woman, and no one had so much as suggested that he lose his security.

"Whatever grievances people had against us, sex crimes weren’t on the list."

A poll conducted by YouGov in the UK in January showed that 86 per cent of Britons disliked Prince Andrew compared to just seven per cent who liked him.

Earlier this week, the Sussexes were centre stage yet again after an episode of South Park saw them ridiculed.

The episode entitled The Worldwide Privacy Tour aired on Comedy Central in the US on February 15, and depicts the “Prince of Canada” attempting to escape the public eye with his princess.

Although the pair weren’t named in the episode, similarities to the former royal couple were hard to ignore as the cartoon prince sported red hair, and his wife donned an outfit similar to that of Markle’s at 2018’s Trooping the Colour.

Viewers also watched the cartoon couple appear on the fictional show Good Morning Canada holding placards that read: “We want our privacy!” and: “Stop looking at us!” whilst the talk show host introduces a copy of the prince’s book, titled Waaagh.

After the cartoon aired, speculation mounted that the couple were planning to sue the creators of the show, something their rep has now denied.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex rubbished the claim via their spokesperson and said it was "boring and baseless".
