Harry and Meghan pay tribute to Prince Philip: ‘You will be greatly missed’

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have paid tribute to Prince Philip, hours after Harry’s grandfather died at Windsor Castle.
The pair’s official website has been transformed into a memorial page to the Duke of Edinburgh.
A short message on archewell.com, set against a dark background, says: “In loving memory of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh. 1921-2021.”
It adds: “Thank you for your service... you will be greatly missed.”
Funeral arrangements for Philip, who died on Friday morning at the age of 99, have yet to be confirmed, but it is likely Prince Harry will be among the small number of mourners, the PA news agency understands.
Prince Harry is living in California with Meghan Markle and has not returned to the UK since stepping down from his Royal duties last year.
It is not yet known whether the Duchess of Sussex, who is 28 weeks pregnant with the couple’s second child, will accompany him.
On return to the UK, Harry would likely have to quarantine for ten days but would be allowed to attend the funeral on compassionate grounds.
Given his status as a member of the royal family travelling to support the Queen, he might be considered exempt from travel restrictions.
It would be the first time Harry has joined the royal family since relinquishing his duties and would follow his and Meghan’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in which they accused the royal family of racism and the institution of failing to support a suicidal Meghan.
Earlier today, a Fox News host linked the Oprah interview to Prince Philip’s death, saying their comments, made while the Duke was in hospital, had “evidently” added to the 99-year-old’s “stress”.
Speaking just minutes after the Buckingham Palace announcement, host Brian Kilmeade said: “There are reports that [Philip] was enraged after the interview and the fallout from the interview with Oprah Winfrey, so here he is trying to recover and he’s hit with that.”
Soon after, Nigel Farage made a similar accusation, again on the Fox News channel. He claimed it was “well known” that Philip was near death and called the couple “deeply disrespectful” for giving the interview.
