Watch: William and Kate release family video to mark 10th wedding anniversary
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have sent their private congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on their wedding anniversary.
Yahoo UK has learnt that Harry and Meghan sent their well wishes from California to his brother and sister-in-law on Thursday.
William, 38, and Kate, 39, are marking 10 years since their wedding day on 29 April, sharing two new portraits and a video of them with their children for the occasion.
The photographs were taken earlier this week in Kensington Palace, while the video was shot in Norfolk in the autumn.
Harry and William have had a difficult relationship for a few years, and this deepened when Harry decided to step back from royal duties in January 2020.
In March 2021, he and his wife Meghan – while working royals – said they had faced a racist remark, related to the colour of their unborn child's skin from another senior royal.
The comment, made to Oprah Winfrey during an explosive interview, led to William having to deny his family was "a racist family" during an engagement in London.
Harry said his relationship with his brother was "space" and said they were "on different paths".
He also suggested William and his father Prince Charles were "trapped" within the institution of the monarchy.
It meant all eyes were on the brothers when Harry, 36, returned to the UK ahead of the rumoured schedule to say goodbye to his grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh.

The royals were reunited for the first time since the interview, with Harry walking close to William and his father in a procession behind Prince Philip's coffin.
While Harry was not pictured with his father, he did walk back from the chapel to the castle in Windsor with William, after Kate struck up a conversation with him.
However it was later revealed that the conversation "broke the ice" but did not solve any of the problems between the two.
Harry and Meghan, 39, chose to move to California, Meghan's home state, after stepping back from their senior royal duties and confirmed earlier this year that they would not be returning to their former life.
They had intended to be back in the UK more frequently, but their travel plans have been scuppered because of coronavirus.
Harry is likely to next be in London for 1 July, which would have been his mother Diana's 60th birthday.
William and Harry will unite on that day for the unveiling of a statue of her in the Kensington Palace gardens.
It's not certain whether Meghan will attend because she is pregnant with their second child, and may have only recently given birth.
