Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
Harry potter and the Cursed Child is a two-part west end play written by the brilliant Jack Thorne. The story is based on an original story by Thorne, J.K Rowling and John Tiffany set 19 years after Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows.
I just started reading the book which was published July 31 2016. The book is a rehearsal script of the play, containing a small part of what Rowling and her co-writers hope to achieve. I started reading it in the early hours of this morning and I know I will finish it today. What struck me the most is that Harry Potter’s son Albus was put into Slytherin by the sorting hat. Now that was a shock. I won’t spoil too much for those who have not read the book just yet. Get yours hands on a copy!
The play I have heard is brilliant which I hope to see very soon. People have even opted for second-hand tickets priced at £1000. It is that serious.
The book has become the fastest-selling book in the UK this decade.
