Harry Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe and Gary Oldman reunite in Toronto

Harry Potter and Sirius Black are together again following a heartfelt reunion between the two actors that played them in Toronto.

Daniel Radcliffe was photographed smiling alongside Gary Oldman at Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), 12 years after they last starred on-screen together.

Oldman played Potter's godfather in three Harry Potter films – Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix – from 2004 to 2007.

According to onlookers, Radcliffe's fans "stampeded" one of the main streets that hosts the festival in the hope of spotting the actor.

Radcliffe attended the premiere of his new film Guns Akimbo where critic Marshall Shaffer revealed he gave "the absolute best" answer when asked if he had any advice for aspiring actors.

“I mean, I’m kind of the worst possible person to answer that," the star, who won the role of Harry Potter after attending open auditions, told the moderator.

Action comedy Guns Akimbo follows a man who relies on his newly-acquired gladiator skills to save his ex-girlfriend from kidnappers. It currently has no release date.

Just last week, Harry Potter author JK Rowling appeared to tease a mystery sequel to West End production Cursed Child.
