Harry Styles' 'As It Was' has become the longest running US number one single by a British artist.
The hit single has now celebrated 15 weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, breaking a record previously held jointly by Mark Ronson and Elton John.
Ronson and John's classic singles 'Uptown Funk' and 'Candle In The Wind' spent 14 weeks at the top of the US charts.

After hitting 15 weeks at the top of the charts, 'As It Was' is now the fourth longest number one in US history.
Only 'Old Town Road' by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus, 'Despacito' by Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber, and 'One Sweet Day' by Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men have spent longer at the top of the charts.
'Old Town Road' owns the overall record after spending 19 weeks at number one in 2019.
This week, Styles is also top of the film box office with Don't Worry Darling, making him one of the few artists to be simultaneously number one in both music and movies.
The feat was previously achieved by Eminem in 2002 with his film 8 Mile with its lead single 'Lose Yourself' also topping the music charts.
Prince is another artist to have held both positions at the same time with his musical drama Purple Rain and classic hit 'When Doves Cry'.
Styles' performance in Don't Worry Darling has received largely negative reviews with the BBC saying he "doesn't feel up to the material" while The New Yorker said he was "utterly and helplessly adrift".
The film as a whole received largely mixed reviews with much of the praise going to Florence Pugh's lead performance and the production design.
