Ticket holders waiting to see Harry Styles at the Houston Toyota Center endured heavy rain on Monday, September 13, huddling under umbrellas in footage shared to Twitter, as a tropical storm warning was issued ahead of the oncoming Storm Nicholas.

Outer bands from Tropical Storm Nicholas brought drenching rain to southern Texas on Monday, along with the risk for a life-threatening storm surge, the NHC reported.

Fans of singer Harry Styles did not let the poor weather deter their plans to line up early outside the Houston venue, hours before the artist was scheduled to take the stage.

The NWS forecast 8 to 16 inches of rain for parts of southeastern Texas, “but amounts greater than 20 inches are possible.”

UPDATE: The Harry Styles Twitter account announced on Monday afternoon that the Houston show was canceled. “Please go home and be safe … I love you all,” Styles said. Credit: @salvischolar via Storyful
