Winston with Love, Harry Winston's latest high jewelry collection, has officially launched in the U.S. The house uses this new creative venture to celebrate the stages and feelings surrounding romantic relationships: the first intrigue, the growing obsession, and eventually, the commitment made and vow taken together.

The collection, like all of Harry Winston's creations, uses exceptional gemstones for its pieces—mainly diamonds, rubies, sapphires, and spessartines. Thirty-nine designs make up the offering and are separated into four chapters: L (Winston Light), O (Winston Obsession), V (Winston Vow), and E (Winston Eternity), with each letter representing a different stage of love. Each grouping features their own unique look, movement, stone combinations, and forms, yet all the pieces live nicely together as one collection.

The Sparks grouping, as apart of Winston Light, brings to mind the buoyant feeling of a first meeting and the arousing excitement that goes with it. Red rubellites, blue tanzanites, and orange spessartines are the vibrant stones chosen in the Sparks settings to mimic the sun's rays.

Winston Obsession pays homage to the passion that comes as a relationship matures and progresses, featuring more saturated gemstones meant to mimic a fire's heat. Winston Vow uses the shape of a heart to inspire the designs, with rubies being the featured gemstone. In Winston Eternal, the lifetime vow two partners make is celebrated with interlocking hearts that seem to have no beginning or end.

The collection, indeed, takes one on a visual journey, celebrating one of the most rewarding and important parts of life, a romantic relationship, and after the last year's trials, what better time to celebrate love? As Mr. Harry Winston once said, “Jewels are more than my love and my life; they are an insatiable obsession.” We'd say the same could be said for that indescribable feeling of true love.
