Hartford Line weekday train times to be adjusted due to rail replacement

The Hartford Line of CT Rail will adjust its weekday schedule from Oct. 3 to 21 on several trains to accommodate a rail replacement project by Amtrak, according to the state Department of Transportation.

“The rail replacement project will require train time adjustments of up to 10 minutes, and some connecting trains may have changed,” the DOT said in a news release.

“These changes will ensure that passengers can make their train connections during the construction,” the DOT said.

The rail-replacement project will be done in three stages. The first stage will replace sections of track between Meriden and Berlin.

The temporary schedule can be found at hartfordline.com.
