Hartford police investigate car crash that killed the driver and passenger

Hartford police are investigating an early Saturday morning car crash that killed the driver and passenger who were both 22-year-old men.

Police say officers responded at about 4 a.m. to the scene of the one-car accident at Main and Montville streets.

The 2008 Acura TL struck a utility pole and the two men were extricated by the Hartford Fire Department. The driver was identified as Eustace Chase of Manchester and the passenger was Justin Joseph of Hartford.

The Hartford Police Crime Scene Division is investigating.
