Hartville Hardware has transformed its iconic 1,830-square-foot Idea House into a gingerbread house to bring the Christmas spirit to life. Starting in October, team members worked in shifts to convert the Idea House.

The gingerbread house is decorated with products that can be found in the hardware store. It features gum drops made of paint buckets, lollipops designed out of pool noodles, peppermint sticks made of PVC pipe and life-size cut-out gingerbread characters custom-designed from the store’s mill. It also features gingerbread families enjoying a gondola ride down the store’s central aisle.

The store is stocked with seasonal decor and holiday gifts.
