Remember the last time you were excited for a workout? Unless said workout is defined as a "bubble bath," we're afraid we don't recall either, darlings.

Well, it's high time to get that quarantine booty off of the couch and into action, thanks to a host of offerings from iFit that will make us Southerners feel right at home—even on a treadmill. Last month, the interactive, connected fitness platform, iFit, which is part of the same company as NordicTrack and other fitness brands, launched the Haunted Bayou Tour through New Orleans with TLC’s Ghost Brothers star, Dalen Spratt guiding you through six paranormal destinations like Fort Macomb and the Olivier House Hotel. While getting your spook on, you'll be so captivated you'll barely notice you're torching calories as you get a low-impact, guided workout in as you cavort about Crescent City.

Check out a preview of the experience below.

The iFit Haunted Bayou Tour is available on all iFit-enabled treadmills, cycles and rowers, and ellipticals such as NordicTrack and ProForm, or on the iFit app for smartphones and tablets. Monthly app plans start at $15 a month with a 30-day free trial. With the app, you can use the guided workouts with non-iFit-enabled equipment by simply propping your phone or tablet on your workout equipment—like an exercise bike, treadmill, rowing machine, or elliptical—and following along (you can also use the app without equipment for certain programs). Check it out on Google Play for Android devices or on the App Store for Apple devices.

Looking to invest in at-home fitness equipment amidst the coronavirus pandemic or banding together with others to splurge on a nice holiday gift for a loved one? We especially love NordicTrack's recumbent bike series for those who are new to stationary bikes (from $999) and NordicTrack's RW900 rowing machine ($1,699) for a fun, cardio challenge that makes you feel like you have a private rowing coach in your home.

The South's Most Haunted Places

With historic cities like Savannah and Charleston, it's no wonder that some of the nation's spookiest spots are in the South. Stay the night at one of these iconic locations, and you may have a ghostly surprise.

In addition to New Orleans, iFit also has guided workouts in Florida's Everglades (pictured above), Brickell Key in Miami, and on a beach in South Florida, as well as a half-marathon through the Smoky Mountains in which you can set the pace to whatever works for you (phew). All of these options are available for both elliptical and treadmills. Outside our neck of the woods, iFit offers incredible guided workouts to Hawaii, Nevada, Utah, Greece, Thailand, and many more amazing destinations around the globe.

Admittedly, with all of these epic "travels" we can journey to safely from our home right now, we're not sure where to start. But we know we'll be ending with that bubble bath.
