Hats Off: Diver Takes Baseball Cap From Starfish's Grasp
A scuba diver in the waters off the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia, plucked a baseball cap emblazoned with the Tommy Jeans logo from the grip of a starfish, sharing footage of the underwater encounter to Instagram.
Jules Casey, who frequently posts footage of what she sees below the waves to her OneBreathDiver Instagram account, posted the footage on January 10.
Speaking to Storyful, she joked “what has 11 arms and wears a baseball cap?”
Casey has however highlighted the issue of underwater litter on numerous occasions, with previous footage shared to her Instagram account including discoveries of beer bottles, soda cans, shopping carts and other items below the waves. Credit: Jules Casey via Storyful
