New Haven Restaurant Week to feature deals at 23 restaurants

The biannual New Haven Restaurant Week will return Oct. 16-29, with 23 restaurants in the city offering special deals.

Restaurants will offer prix-fixe menu items with two-course lunch options for $25 and three-course dinner options starting at $35.

Participating restaurants include Atelier Florian, Barcelona Wine Bar, Caffe Bravo, Camacho Garage, Christopher Martins, Claire’s Corner Copia, Elm City Social, Geronimo Tequila Bar and Southwest Grill, Goodfellas Restaurant, Harvest Wine Bar & Restaurant, Heirloom, L’Orcio, Olea, Olives and Oil, Pacifico, Pistachio Café, Prime16, Shell & Bones Oyster Bar and Grill, Soul de Cuba Café, South Bay, Tre Scalini, Villa Lulu and ZINC.

The event benefits Connecticut Foodshare. Since Restaurant Week began in 2009, restaurants have raised more than $50,000 for the food bank.

“In Connecticut, nearly 400,000 people, including 1 in 8 children, are struggling with food insecurity. We are grateful to the community for supporting our vision of a thriving community free of hunger,” said Jason Jakubowski, president and CEO of Connecticut Foodshare.

The Shops at Yale will offer free two-hour parking with a same-day purchase of $50 or more from participating restaurants at lots located at 255 Crown St. and 56 Broadway. Park New Haven will offer a $5 parking rate during lunch (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.) in the Crown Street and Temple Street garage.

The event is popular so reservations are recommended. To see menus from participating restaurants, visit infonewhaven.com/nhrw22/.
