Hawaii Pacific Health administers COVID-19 vaccines on first day at Kapiolani Medical Center
Aug. 4—Hawaii Pacific Health provided COVID-19 vaccinations to 79 individuals on its first day of operation at its new vaccine clinic at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children on Monday.
HPH closed its Pier 2 vaccination center at the end of July after administering more than 184, 000 doses there, and moved to Kapiolani Medical Center in preparation for the anticipated availability of the COVID-19 vaccine for children under 12.
Scheduled appointments and walk-in vaccinations are available at the Kapiolani clinic from 8 a.m. to noon on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and noon to 4 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday.
In addition to the Kapiolani clinic, HPH also offers COVID-19 vaccinations at Straub Medical Center's urgent care locations on Oahu, including Kahala, Kapolei, Ward Village and Waikiki, and through its Vax Squad mobile vaccine clinics, which will be visiting Pearl City and Waikele Shopping Centers, and Aloha Stadium Swap Meet this month.
