Murray, 25, had the best season of his career last season with the San Antonio Spurs, averaging 21.1 points per game and 9.2 assists, making his first all-star appearance.
According to Channel 2, a trade of Murray to Atlanta would send forward Danilo Gallinari and multiple first-round picks to San Antonio. Previous reporting from Bleacher Report indicated that John Collins would be sent back to the Spurs in any deal, but according to Channel 2 that doesn’t appear to be the case.

Murray’s defensive ability and secondary playmaking would complement Hawks star Trae Young in the backcourt.
The Hawks finished with the fifth-worst defense in the league last season, according to NBA.com.
