Hawley Library raffle includes Super Mario Kart Ride-On Racer

The Hawley Public Library’s Annual Basket Raffle Fundraiser is underway. Twenty-two baskets are up for grabs. They include $50 gift certificates for Gresham’s Chop House, the Ridge, Paupack Watering Hole, and Cora’s 1850’s Bistro.

There are two Movie Night baskets that include Blu-Ray players, a Get Crockin’ basket that features a crock pot and meal starters, $50 worth of scratch-off lottery tickets, and so many more.

This year, the Hawley Public Library is offering a showcase item, Super Mario Kart Ride-On Racer. Tickets for the racer are $2 each, all other basket tickets are $1 each or buy ten and get one free.

This is one of the library’s largest fundraising events. Those interested in seeing the baskets may stop in the library. Tickets can be purchased in person or buy them online at hawleylibrary.org. Drawing will be held on December 17, 2022 at 1:15 p.m. Participants do not need to be present to win.

The Hawley Public Library is located at 103 Main Avenue in Hawley. Library cards are free to anyone who is a resident in Wayne or Pike County. The library is open 9:3 0a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays; 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays; as well as 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. The library is closed on Sunday and Monday.
