Westworld returns for a season 4 this summer, and HBO has released the new trailer!

The release was done in a scavenger hunt-esque theme that left viewers digging for more until it was uncovered. Evan Rachel Wood, Thandiwe Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Luke Hemsworth, Aaron Paul and Angela Sarafyan return to star in the fourth season and Oscar winner Ariana DeBose, as revealed in the trailer, is a recurring guest star.

In the trailer, Thandiwe Newton's Maeve walks an abandoned road. People aimlessly walk throughout the city and flies cover the ceiling appearing as a portal to doom. Blood clads someone and in another scene, it coats the floor as it seeps from the body. It’s eerie!

Westworld returns after a two-year hiatus as its third season ended in May of 2020.

The series is a Kilter Films and Bad Robot Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy are co createers of the sci-fi series. The duo also serve as executive producers alongside Alison Schapker, Denise Thé, J.J. Abrams, Athena Wickham, Richard J. Lewis and Ben Stephenson.
