Head out to these pumpkin patches in Corpus Christi in October 2022
South Texas may not be known for growing farm fields of pumpkins, but you can still find spots to pick out your decorative gourds. Five area churches along with the Rockin' K Farms will all offer pumpkins for sale in October, so head over to select your next jack-o-lantern and take some fun photos.

St. John’s United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch
The annual pumpkin patch at St. John’s United Methodist Church benefits the Children's Ministry and features pumpkins of all sizes for sale, field trips for area kids and school groups and free photo op setups. The patch is open Sunday, Oct. 2 through Monday, Oct. 31 from 10 a.m. to dark Mondays through Saturdays and 12:30 p.m. to dark Sundays at 5300 S. Grace United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch
The Grace United Methodist Church in Calallen invites the community to their pumpkin patch, where family traditions are made one pumpkin at a time. Come pick a pumpkin or take photos with the family, where proceeds benefit the Youth Ministry’s Sea City and youth camp programs. The patch is open Sunday, Oct. 2 through Monday, Oct. 31 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 1-7 p.m. Sundays at 14521 Northwest Boulevard. St. Peter's by the Sea Pumpkin Patch
St. Peter's by the Sea United Methodist Church in Flour Bluff has pumpkins in all shapes and sizes and welcomes school and daycare tours by request (please call ahead). The patch is open Sunday, Oct. 9 through Monday, Oct. 31 from 9 a.m. until dark Mondays through Fridays (school groups 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.), 10 a.m. until dark Saturdays, and noon until dark Sundays at 1541 Waldron Road. Portland First United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch
This fall First United Methodist Church in Portland is inviting the community back to the patch! Get pumpkins and enjoy special events during fall, and all patch proceeds benefit the church's Build-A-Home Ministry. The patch is open Monday, Oct. 10 through Monday, Oct. 31, from 3-7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays, and 1-7 p.m. Sundays at 4545 Wildcat Drive, Portland. Asbury United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch
Asbury United Methodist Church’s annual pumpkin patch is back with thousands of pumpkins and gourds for sale. And be sure to stop by the “Picture Patch,” where families can take photos with several backdrops. Storytelling for groups is available by appointment. The patch is open Monday, Oct. 17 through Monday, Oct. 31 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Sundays at 7501 S. Rockin’ K Farms
The Rockin' K Farms in Robstown has a pumpkin barn to purchase your gourds, but you do have to pay admission to enter the grounds and enjoy all the other fun attractions. In addition to the corn maze, there are slides, backyard games, farm animals, cow train, apple blaster, and more. There are lots of spots to take photos, plus a large concession area with food and drinks. The farm is open weekends Sept. 24 through Nov. 6 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays at 5385 County Road 52, Robstown. Tickets are $24.95 for general admission and $34.95 for a super pass (children 2 and younger are free) All tickets are redeemable once during the 2022 season.
