Heading to Freeport's Tutty Baker Festival? Here's a day-by-day breakdown of events

The long-awaited return of the Tutty Baker Festival in Freeport is just days away.

The three-day event, named after Freeport's founder, William "Tutty" Baker, kicks off July 7.

Here's full list of events for each day of the festival:

Friday

  • 5 p.m. - Music on Chicago with the Blue Steel Band playing at the Art Plaza.

  • 5 to 7 p.m. - Tarot Readings at Rootz and Branchez.

  • 5 to 8 p.m. - Disabled American veterans bike show at Douglas and State streets.

  • 6 p.m. - Live Blues Band and at Main Street and Adams Avenue.

Saturday

  • 7 a.m. to noon - Farmers Market at Exchange Street and Van Buren Avenue.

  • 7 a.m. - PHK bike ride at the Jane Adams Trail.

  • 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Authors book signing at Douglas Street and Chicago Avenue.

  • 8 a.m. - 5k run at Tutty's Crossing.

  • 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Tarot Readings at Rootz and Branchez.

  • 10 a.m. - Free movie at the Lindo Theater. (Event organizers have not said what movie will be shown.)

  • 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. - Trolley rides available throughout the festival.

  • 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Creative musical performance at the Art Plaza.

  • Noon to 5 p.m. - A petting zoo at Exchange Street and Chicago Avenue.

  • Noon to 5 p.m. - A cornhole tournament at Pub 219, 219 E. Stephenson St.

  • 1 to 3 p.m. - Ukulele Express 815 in front of the Rite Way, 20 E. Stephenson St.

  • 2 p.m. - A cereal eating contest at Munchies Cereal and Shake Bar Restaurant, 116 W. Douglas St.

  • 4 to 6 p.m. - Karaoke at the Art Plaza.

  • 5 to 9 p.m. - Freeport hot rods car show at Stephenson and State streets.

  • 7 to 9 p.m. - Bootleg Soul, a classic rock band, performs at the Art Plaza.

  • 9 p.m. - Fireworks show seen throughout downtown Freeport. The fireworks will be launched from Tutty's Crossing.

Sunday

  • 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Kayak rentals will be available at Tutty's Crossing.

  • 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. - Community worship will be held at the Art Plaza.

  • 12 p.m. - Rubber duck race at Tutty's Crossing.

  • 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. - Gospel Fest at the Art Plaza.

  • Carnival from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
