Headington: Crews remain at scene of early hours house fire

Fire crews have been tackling a fire at a house which broke out in the early hours.

Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue said crews were sent to the blaze on Franklin Road, Headington, Oxford shortly before 02:00 BST.

At its height there were seven fire engines at the fire. It is not known if anyone has been injured.

The fire service said two crews and a hydraulic platform remain at the semi-detached house dealing with hotspots.

It said an investigation would begin once the hotspots had been dealt with.
