Heads up: Roadwork on I-275 in Campbell County beginning Monday will result in short delays

Duke Energy has scheduled early morning rolling roadblocks on Interstate-275 in Campbell County on Monday, Jan. 24, through Wednesday, Jan. 26, so crews can remove utility wires across the interstate.

The work had been scheduled to begin on Sunday, Jan. 23. But that was delayed because the National Weather Service says the area could get up two inches of snow on Sunday.

Expect short delays due to the project, which will run from midnight to 5 a.m. on I-275 near Kentucky 8.

Law enforcement will assist with traffic control.
