Health Alerts Issued For 2 Putnam Restaurants

PUTNAM COUNTY, NY — Putnam health officials have issued health warnings for anyone who ate at or worked at the Everready Diner in Brewster or Arturo's Tavern in Mahopac on recent days.

Anyone at the diner at 90 Independent Way from 6-7:30 p.m. Sept. 19, or 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday may have been exposed to the coronavirus, which can cause the disease called COVID-19.

Anyone at Arturo's on Route 6 from 4-11 p.m. Monday may have been exposed.

A member of the public who has tested positive for the coronavirus was at the restaurant during these times.

Health officials asked restaurant workers and patrons to watch for symptoms of COVID-19 which include fever, chills, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea.
