The Oct. 18 meeting will feature the Baker Rehab Brain and Balance Center. Their presentation will be on physical therapy benefits for people with Parkinson's Disease. The group will host discussion groups at the Nov. 15 meeting as part of the Caring and Sharing series. The annual holiday party will be on Dec. 20. The new year will begin with Dr. Liana Rosenthal from the Johns Hopkins University Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorder Center on Jan. 17, 2024. Dr. Rosenthal is a nationally recognized expert on Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders. Amneal Pharma will do a presentation on the Parkinson's Drug Rytary at the Feb. 21, 2024, meeting. The Sharing and Caring March 20, 2024 will see a presentation from the Frederick Health Hospice regarding hospice and palliative care. The Sharing and Caring series will continue on April 17, 2024. Local movement disorder specialist Dr. Laura Brosbe will take questions at the May 15, 2024 meeting. Dr. Brosbe's presentations are always well received by the group.
