Health care costs are rising, expert says

A new report shows the impact the COVID-19 pandemic had on hospital costs. Analysts with Quotewizard found that hospitals in California spent 10% more per patient in the first year of the pandemic than they did in 2019. The data shows hospital costs have increased 22% since 2016. Experts predict the trend will continue past the pandemic.
