Two new oncologists join the Seacoast Cancer Center

DOVER — The Seacoast Cancer Center at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital welcomed two medical oncologists to the staff in August.

Dr. Arun Kadamkulam Syriac and Navkirat Kaur Kahlon, CMQ, will see patients at the Seacoast Cancer Center in Dover.

Syriac graduated from Government Medical College in Kottayam, India. Syriac furthered his education by completing the internal medicine residency program at the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Ill. He served as chief resident.

More recently, Syriac completed his fellowship at the hematology/oncology fellowship program at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute at St. Elizabeth Hospital/Boston University in Brighton, Mass. He served as chief fellow.

Syriac has participated in multiple research projects and has research interest in immunotherapy, breast cancer, and health care disparities.

Kahlon attended the Guru Gobind Singh Medical College & Hospital in Faridkot, Punjab, India, where she earned a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.

Kahlon furthered her education at the University of Toledo Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio, where she earned a Master of Public Health and completed her residency in internal medicine and fellowship in hematology and oncology, where she served as chief fellow. She has participated in multiple research and quality improvement projects.

EXETER — The Physicians of Access Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics are pleased to welcome Jeffrey Rosenfield, M.D., to their practice.

Dr. Rosenfield completed his undergraduate education and received his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of California in San Diego. He then attended Chicago Medical School and received his medical degree in 1996, with a nomination to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his orthopedic residency training at New York University – The Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City. After that, he completed a one-year fellowship in hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery at Wake Forest University in North Carolina.

Dr. Rosenfield has extensive experience with the latest advancements in upper extremity surgery, including endoscopic carpal tunnel release, arthroscopy, and joint replacement of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. He also has expertise in finger replantation, microvascular surgery, and fracture repairs.
