Health Care Worker Performs at Iowa Hospital to 'Provide Healing' for Colleagues

A radiology technologist harnessed the “healing benefits” of music recently, singing and playing piano at a hospital in Iowa City, Iowa.

Video shared by University of Iowa Health Care on April 29 shows Russell Johnson Jr belting out a gospel rendition of Amazing Grace at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics facility. The health care system said Johnson’s musical moment was meant to “provide healing to those who walked by.”
