Health Center of Huron County celebrates grand opening of Willard location
Oct. 21—WILLARD — The Health Center of Huron County invites the community to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house to celebrate the grand opening of the Willard location from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Oct. 28.
The public will have the opportunity to tour the facilities and meet the staff that will be providing a wide range of services including wellness visits, sick visits, reproductive health/family planning services, and immunizations to all ages. The facility is equipped with 4 exam rooms that are Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant.
Meet the staff
Many Huron County residents may be familiar with Jodi Schwab, who has served as a Family Nurse Practitioner for the Health Center since November 2020. Schwab is accepting patients in both Norwalk and Willard office locations and will be joined by the Health Center of Huron County's newest provider, Miriam Roggio, who joined the Health Center of Huron County staff in August 2022.
Roggio brings more than 15 years of experience in providing care to all ages from pediatric to adult in a variety of healthcare settings including post-surgical care, mental health, and pediatrics. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she has clinical training in public health, women's health, pediatrics, family practice, and ortho spine. Roggio lived in Costa Rica and Ecuador for three years and is bilingual in Spanish. She currently is accepting new patients.

Additionally, the Health Center of Huron County hired Brittany McClellan in July 2022 to serve as Director of the Health Center of Huron County. She will collaborate with Kayli Stoner, Clinical Nurse Supervisor, to oversee the daily operation of business of the Health Center of Huron County's two locations in Norwalk and Willard.
