As of Friday, July 28, there have been 123,032 positive COVID-19 cases reported. During last week's findings, one death was reported, three people were reported to be in the ICU and eight people were currently in the hospital.

For the week of Friday, July 21, 81 cases were reported. For last week, the cases increased more than double with 179 reported cases.

The rise in cases in Nueces County is consistent with the increase in hospital admissions, positive test rates, and emergency room visits seen nationally, according to a release.
