Health inspections briefly close three Palm Beach County restaurants

Three Palm Beach County restaurant were shut down last week after failing a state restaurant inspection.

Boynton Beach

Pho 79,1899 N. Congress Ave., Boynton Beach, was ordered closed after an inspection on Aug. 1.

It had two high-priority, two intermediate and four basic violations.

The high-priority violations included the presence of small, flying insects.

The restaurant corrected all the violations and reopened the next day.

Riviera Beach

Seaside Bar and Grill, 2401 Beach Court, Riviera Beach, was ordered closed on Aug. 2.

It had one intermediate and nine basic violations.

The intermediate violation was no paper towels or mechanical hand drying device provided at handwash sink.

The restaurant made the necessary corrections and reopened the next day.

Jupiter

Dunkin Donuts, 6274 W. Indiantown Road, Jupiter, was ordered closed on Aug. 2.

It had three high-priority, six intermediate and seven basic violations.

The high-priority violations included improper time and temperature controls for maintaining food safety.

The restaurant corrected all violations and reopened the next day.
