Health insurance premium rates hearing set for Oct. 29
Oct. 19—The New Hampshire Insurance Department will host its annual hearing on health insurance premium rates next week.
The meeting will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29.
The hearing will be held as a webinar, and is open to the public.
According to state law, the insurance commissioner "shall hold an annual public hearing concerning premium rates in the health insurance market and the factors, including health care costs and cost trends that have contributed to rate increases during the prior year."
This year's public hearing is based on 2020 data, according to a news release.
