Health screenings coming to Marietta

·1 min read

Jan. 6—Residents can learn about their risk for cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, diabetes and other chronic, serious conditions with health screenings by Life Line Screening on Feb. 19 at the Hampton Inn and Suites, 2136 Kingston Court SE in Marietta.

Screenings can check for the level of plaque buildup in one's arteries, related to risk of cardiovascular disease, stroke and overall vascular health; HDL and LDL cholesterol levels; diabetes risk; bone density as a risk for possible osteoporosis; and kidney and thyroid function.

Special package pricing starts at $149, but consultants can work with residents to create a package that is right for them based on age and risk factors. Pre-registration is required.
