'My Heart Hurts for These People': Christian Man Surveys Alabama Storm Damage

The National Weather Service said at least 12 counties in central Alabama may have had tornadoes on March 17, including Chilton County, where homes were destroyed and trees uprooted.

Roger Bean took footage of the damage as the sun rose over Clanton, in Chilton County, on Thursday morning, and shared his thoughts on the devastating toll of the intense overnight storms.

“When you lose everything that you’ve worked so hard for…oh, my heart hurts for these people. Good people,” Bean says in the footage. “You know what? That sun coming up is God reminding us, I still got you. I still love you. Amen. He protected everyone. I thank God for that. God is still good, my friend. We go through storms in life, but we overcome them through Jesus. Amen.”
