Stark Community Foundation recently launched a new Nonprofit Directory, a valuable resource designed to connect community members with local nonprofits.

The Nonprofit Directory, accessible at www.starkcf.org/np-directory, showcases nearly 100 local nonprofits and their missions, programs and geographic footprint. Residents can easily access a wide range of area organizations serving various causes, including:

  • Arts & culture

  • Community & economic cevelopment

  • Education

  • Environment

  • Faith-based

  • Food & nutrition

  • Health

  • Housing

  • Social services

Key features of the Nonprofit Directory include:

  1. Comprehensive Listings: Detailed profiles of each nonprofit that outline their mission, programs and contact information and empower residents to deepen their community knowledge by learning about nearby organizations.

  2. Search and Filter Tools: Easy-to-use search and filter options streamline the process of finding nonprofits based on specific causes or geographical locations and ensure people can quickly discover organizations that resonate with their passions and interests.

  3. Interactive Map: A user-friendly map interface visually represents the geographical distribution of nonprofits within the community, fostering a sense of local engagement and connectivity.

To join the directory, organizations must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations serving Stark and the surrounding counties. Organizations can submit a profile online in less than five minutes at www.starkcf.org/np-profile.
