Robert Cormier, who had a recurring role on the TV series “Slasher” and also appeared on “Heartland,” died Friday in Ontario at age 33.

A sister of the actor told The Hollywood Reporter that Cormier died at a hospital after suffering a fall.

“Robert was an athlete, an actor, and a great brother. He had a passion for helping others and was always looking to achieve more,” an online obituary for Cormier reads.

“He enjoyed movie nights with his family, and looked up greatly to his father. He impacted many people throughout his life whether it was family, teammates and friends. Rob’s memory will live on through his passion for art and film; as well as his three sisters who meant the world to him.”

The Toronto-born Cormier had two-dozen on-screen credits during an acting career that spanned more than a decade, including roles on the series “Ransom” and “American Gods.”

He appeared on seven episodes of “Slasher” as Kit Jennings during the anthology horror show’s third season in 2019. He played Finn Cotter on an episode of “Heartland” last year.

A funeral service is set to take place Sunday in Ontario for Cormier, who is survived by his parents and three sisters.
