The Heat force a Game 7 Sunday night against the Celtics in Miami

Dreams of another NBA Finals appearance for the Boston Celtics and their fans will have to wait.

The Miami Heat beat the Celtics in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The series is now tied 3-3.

The final in Boston on Friday night was 111-103. Miami’s Jimmy Butler had 47 points in the Heat win. Butler had 17 points in the fourth quarter alone.

Jayson Tatum scored a team-high 30 points and had 9 rebounds.

Game 7 will be played Sunday night in Miami. If the Celtics win, it will be their first trip to the NBA finals since 2010. The Celtics last won the NBA Finals in 2008 against the Lakers.
