Heat is a main concern at Pikes Peak Pride

The heat is also a concern at this year's pride fest. Organizers say that people should be aware of the heat and take precautions to stay safe. Organizers will be providing water donated from King Soopers and misters to keep people cool. Springs utilities are donating a 500-gallon tank of water for folks. Even though it's going to be a hot weekend, organizers want everyone to come out and enjoy the festivities. Temperatures are expected to be in the low to mid-90s tomorrow in the Springs, so prepare accordingly.
