The Miami Heat will be missing a chunk of its roster on Monday night against the Sacramento Kings because of suspensions and injuries.

Along with not having Jimmy Butler, Thomas Bryant and Nikola Jovic because of league-issued suspensions stemming from Friday’s fight in New Orleans, the Heat will also be without others because of injuries on Monday against the Kings at Golden 1 Center.

The Heat ruled out Tyler Herro (left knee hyperextension), Josh Richardson (right shoulder dislocation), Orlando Robinson (lower back spasms), Terry Rozier (right knee sprain) and Dru Smith (season-ending right knee surgery).

Heat’s Spoelstra appreciates how NBA enforced bench rule after fight: ‘It’s not letter of the law’

Butler and Jovic are serving one-game suspensions because of their roles in Friday’s fight. But they are both expected to be available to play Tuesday against the Portland Trail Blazers at Moda Center (10 p.m., Bally Sports Sun) on the second night of the road back-to-back set.

Bryant is serving the first game of a three-game suspension for fighting. The next game Bryant will be eligible to play in is Saturday against the Utah Jazz at Kaseya Center.

While Herro will miss Monday’s contest after slipping and hyperextending his left knee late in Friday’s win over the New Orleans Pelicans, an MRI on Sunday revealed no structural damage in the knee. Herro is considered day-to-day with his hyperextended knee.

Rozier continues to move closer to his return, but he’ll miss his fourth straight game on Monday with a sprained right knee after an MRI before the All-Star break confirmed he avoided a significant injury. He’s taken part in recent practices and shootarounds with the Heat and his return appears to be imminent, possibly as soon as Tuesday against the Trail Blazers.

“When you see guys go down like that in each case — Terry basically had to be carried off and Tyler was walking off gingerly,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said following Monday’s morning shootaround in Sacramento when asked about the positive results from Herro and Rozier’s recent MRIs. “You’re just hoping for the best for them and then you just wait. I hate that. Those are the longest days when you’re waiting for the results from an MRI. But all things considered, we’re really encouraged by the results for both of them. They’ll be day-to-day and we’ll figure it out.”

Richardson will miss his fourth straight game on Monday after dislocating his right shoulder. He’s not expected to return during the current trip, which ends with Thursday’s NBA Finals rematch against the Nuggets in Denver.

Also, Orlando Robinson will miss his second straight game on Monday because of lower back spasms.

With Bryant, Butler, Herro, Jovic, Richardson, Robinson, Rozier and Smith out, that leaves 10 available Heat players for Monday’s matchup against the Kings: Bam Adebayo, Jamal Cain, Haywood Highsmith, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kevin Love, Caleb Martin, Duncan Robinson, Cole Swider, Alondes Williams and Delon Wright.

Meanwhile, the Kings will be close to full strength on the second night of their back-to-back set after defeating the Clippers in Los Angeles on Sunday night. The only Kings player on the injury report for Monday’s matchup against the Heat is Sasha Vezenkov, who will miss the game with a sprained ankle.
