A heavily-armed man who was allegedly on his way to the White House to kill figures of authority – such as President Joe Biden, Dr. Anthony Fauci and Barack Obama – has been arrested in Iowa.

Cass County Sheriff’s Department arrested Kuachua Brillion Xiong, 25, a recently fired grocery store employee from Merced, California, for “driving aggressively” on Interstate 80 in Cass County, Iowa, on Dec. 21, the Los Angeles Times reported.

A criminal complaint that was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa and released on Dec. 29 by Seamus Hughes, the deputy director of George Washington University’s Program on Extremism, revealed that Xiong was on his way to "take pictures of the White House," according to Law and Crime. Investigators found that he had left Sacramento either on or around Dec. 18.

Xiong reportedly began ranting about the state of U.S. politics and talking about right-wing conspiracy theories when he spoke to authorities, telling them that “getting a hotel would not be necessary" for his expedition to Washington, D.C.

Search and investigation

After being granted permission to search his vehicle, authorities discovered an AR-15-type rifle, a grappling hook, loaded magazines and body armor. His GPS destination was found to be pointing to the White House.

Authorities brought Xiong in for questioning after finding money “ear marked for Xiong’s funeral expenses.” While being interviewed by the Secret Service, Xiong reportedly explained that his role as a grocery store employee was just a “cover” while he was waiting to be “called upon by God to ‘combat evil demons in the White House.’”

Investigators also uncovered notes in his phone that detail how he planned to travel to Washington, D.C., where he would then assassinate Biden and Fauci through a White House security "weak spot." He claimed that he would "climb over the perimeter fencing" of the White House using a grappling hook.

TikTok hit list

Xiong allegedly used TikTok to download videos containing the names of his targets. There were reportedly 100 names on his TikTok hit list of “evil individuals,” which included Biden, Fauci, Obama and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

Authorities were reportedly told by Xiong that “nothing would stop him” from killing the people on his list. He even declared that he would “immediately resume traveling to the White House” if he ever gets released from custody.

Xiong stated that he has no intention of returning to California to see his family because he plans on dying while fighting evil demons at the White House,” the criminal complaint reads.

Xiong, who is currently being detained in Pottawattamie County Jail, was charged with one count of making threats against a former President of the United States.
