Heavy Flooding in China's Henan Province Prompts Emergency Evacuations in Xinxiang

Emergency evacuations were ordered for residents in Xinxiang, China, on Thursday, July 22, as heavy floodwaters continued to submerge the city, local media reported.

At least 33 people were killed and eight others were reported missing as of Thursday after record flooding inundated China’s Henan province, according to local news reports.
