Heavy police presence in Baker County due to a helicopter crash
Baker County Sheriff’s Office is reporting a heavy police presence near the intersection of South Boulevard and Eight Street in Macclenny.
According to FHP, Schweizer Model 269C helicopter attempted to take flight in the field of Emmanuel Church of God in Christ.
Due to mechanical failure, the helicopter was unable to take flight and was damaged in the field.

There were only minor injuries reported.
The community is advised to avoid the area.
