Heavy Rainfall Floods Residential Streets in Baltimore, Maryland
Thunderstorms brought heavy rainfall to the Washington metropolitan area where a flash flood watch was issued on Thursday, June 10.
This footage shared by Baltimore resident Jess Gartner shows overturned trash bins in a flooded alleyway by her house. “After about 10 minutes of heavy rain, my house is within inches of flooding the basement,” Gartner wrote in a Twitter post.
