Heavy Snowfall Brings Sierra Nevada Region to Standstill

Heavy snowfall swept across Mono County, California, and the Sierra Nevada Mountains on January 28, causing road closures throughout the region.

The National Weather Service reported between 27 inches and 76 inches of snow in the High Sierra on January 28.
