HEB Extends Hours At Stores Across Texas

AUSTIN, TX — The HEB grocery store chain has extended its hours after having previously shortened them over the coronavirus.

Starting Monday, most stores across the state began operating from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. until further notice. The grocer on March 15 shortened its hours amid a coronavirus-fueled rush of customers from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Some stores, however, will have different hours of operation as described below:

5:30 a.m. -10 p.m.

If your store is not listed above, the store hours are 6 a.m. – 11 p.m. until further notice, company officials said.

Along with its new hours, HEB continues to ease product limits on many items and popular departments such as our bakery, deli and floral departments are open, officials said.

HEB Pharmacies

"Our HEB Pharmacy team is working hard to ensure Texans are receiving their prescriptions and care they need," officials wrote on the company website. "To focus on serving our pharmacy customers and all HEB customers, we are now temporarily changing hours of operation for most of our HEB Pharmacy locations. Starting Monday, March 16, most HEB Pharmacies started operating from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. All stores will follow their normal weekend hours."

Weekday pharmacy delivery is from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday delivery is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Click here for more about HEB Pharmacy delivery.

Normally a 24-hour location, the pharmacy at the HEB at 1000 EAST 41 ST. in Austin will operate from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day, starting on Saturday, March 14.

The HEB Pharmacies listed below will follow the listed Monday through Friday hours:

  • Hancock Center H‑E‑B: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.

  • San Antonio MARC (8300 Floyd Curl Dr.) – 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • San Antonio Specialty – 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Gatesville: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Port Lavaca – 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Mexia – 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Tech Ridge H‑E‑B: 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.

  • Brodie Lane H‑E‑B: 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.

  • Odessa (540 W. 5th) – 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

  • Mont Belvieu – 8:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.

  • Falfurrias: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Edna: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Hondo: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Cuero: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Aransas Pass: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Carrizo Springs: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Kenedy: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Bay City: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Restaurant operations

South Flo Pizza locations are open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. except for the South Flores Market location in San Antonio, which is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Orders can be placed by phone for pick up or in-store dining or via Favor Delivery, which offers free delivery for South Flo Pizza.
